Narcis Pelach finally issues his first Speech as Stoke City head coach – Reviewing shocking details
Stoke City’s new head coach, Narcis Pelach, is prepared to lead the club for the first time when they play Hull in the Championship on Friday night. He explained what the chance means to him, his strategy, and why he is really thrilled about what lies ahead in his first interview with the club website. What does it mean to be named Stoke City’s head coach?
Pelach: It’s a huge deal because, well, it’s a fantastic chance for me. I never would have imagined receiving such a large club’s offer.
Beyond just being excited, I feel responsible for the work and see it as a reward for all the years of hard labor. I’m really appreciative.
Naturally, it means a lot to my family and me because this club has allowed me to demonstrate my abilities as a head coach—something I haven’t done in this country yet—and I am incredibly grateful to John Coates and Jon Walters for providing me with the chance to come here and prove I’m capable of doing this work.
In life, everything come together at times.
The moments and the timings. I thought it was not the right time for me, even though I had other possibilities to become head coach, not just in England but in other nations as well. However, when Stoke City called, I felt compelled to accept since they are a very large organization and I am familiar with their past.
If they truly believe I am the right candidate for the position, I will not be able to turn them down.
That would have been in opposition to all I have stood for and my ideals. It seemed like the ideal time.
I have five years of experience in the Championship, so I am familiar with the nation, the language, the players, and the league. I’m ready and want to do it.
