Ange’s injury update on Odobert and Werner

Ange Postecoglou feels Wilson Odobert suffered a’significant’ injury in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup third-round victory against Coventry

City.

While we overcame the Sky Blues in dramatic fashion at the Coventry Buildings Society Arena courtesy to late goals from Djed Spence and

Brennan Johnson to earn our place in the fourth round, there were negatives as both Wilson Odobert and Timo Werner were forced off

through injuries.

Wilson, who was signed from Burnley this summer, was replaced midway through the first half, while Timo, who was making his first

start since April, was pushed off late in the match.
