Everton expect quadruple boost vs Leicester City as Sean Dyche rules out five more
Leicester City will be closely watching Everton boss Sean Dyche’s injury update.
as the two teams play in the Premier League this weekend.
Jarrad Branthwaite is not one of the four players that Everton is aiming to have back to full match
fitness in time to play Leicester City this weekend in the Premier League.
Round five of the new season finds both clubs still without a win. Last Saturday,
Steve Cooper’s City were denied theirs in the final moments against Crystal Palace.
drawing 2-2 instead. Everton, on the other hand, lost 3-2 after leading by two goals
against both Bournemouth and Aston Villa before the international break.
Leicester will also go into the weekend with the two teams’ fresher legs
because their next opponents have Carabao Cup-related affairs to take care of.
In the end, they suffered even more misery when Southampton eliminated them at Goodison Park via penalties.
However, manager Sean Dyche expressed his intention to have a more fully-formed team
for the trip to King Power Stadium on Saturday after the final whistle.
“We want the three sick people [James Garner, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Vitalii Mykolenko] to recover.
Through the club’s social media, he stated,
“We’re hopeful on Tarky [James Tarkowski], but the rest are unlikely.”
The trio that had been hit with sickness before last night’s cup match had all featured
in their club’s previous match at Villa Park, but were since deemed unable to play.
Dyche explained more about Tarkowski’s ongoing condition, stating, “It’s his back.
He’s been fighting his way through it. We’re hopeful it settles down in time for the weekend.”
The Toffees were forced to play with five more difficulties on Tuesday.
and it looks like those players’ absences are going to linger.
which will help Leicester’s prospects of ultimately taking three points.
Important center defender Branthwaite appears unlikely to participate this weekend
after failing to play so far this season. The same can be said about Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti.
as well as full-backs Nathan Patterson and Seamus Coleman.
