Predicted Tottenham XI to face Coventry in the Carabao Cup – Archie Gray starts

Tottenham Hotspur travel to Coventry City this week for the third round of the Carabao Cup, hoping to get back on track after two

Premier League defeats.

We believe Ange Postecoglou will continue with Guglielmo Vicario between the sticks, especially after the Italian received criticism for his

performance in the North London Derby.

However, the Spurs manager will rotate at full-back, with both Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie given a rest on the bench and replaced by

Djed Spence and Ben Davies, respectively.

Spurs will look after Micky Van de Ven’s hamstrings by starting Radu Dragusin with vice-captain Cristian Romero.

Yves Bissouma remains out of the pivot position, so Postecoglou will give Archie Gray his first start for Tottenham. The kid will play

alongside James Maddison (captain for the day) and Pape Matar Sarr.

Timo Werner makes a rare start on the wings to relieve Heung-min Son, while Wilson Odobert replaces Brennan Johnson or Dejan

Kulusevski on the right flank.

Dominic Solanke leads the line up front, and Spurs will be hoping to get him going.
