The Ravens’ ability to recover and address a few obvious issues will determine

how the season plays out going forward.

The previous time the Baltimore Ravens dropped their opening two games, they went on to have a difficult season.

The team from this year appears to be more talented than the one from 2015, yet they are off to a similar start.

On Sunday, Baltimore lost 26-23 to the Las Vegas Raiders after blowing a 10-point lead in the final 12 minutes.

The Ravens are without a win and have already suffered half as many losses as they did

When they made it to the AFC championship game the previous year,

despite having the best record in the NFL thanks to two-time MVP Lamar Jackson.

The Ravens lost a close game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the two-time defending Super Bowl champions.

before giving up a double-digit lead to the Raiders, who haven’t won a season since 2021.

Jackson was sacked twice, threw an interception, and had difficulty on the ground despite completing

21 of 34 passes for 247 yards and a touchdown.

Jackson remarked, “We have to find our mojo and do what we do.”

“Because we are not at all like that.”

Derrick Henry was supposed to provide the Ravens with more depth in the backfield.

With 12:11 remaining, Henry’s 84-yard touchdown run gave Baltimore a seemingly secure

23-13 lead over the Raiders and their starting quarterback, Gardner Minshew, who had a 15-23 record.

After Henry’s score, Minshew led three scoring drives to help the Raiders rally.

A defense that is typically adept at hanging on to late leads suffered a blow.

According to linebacker Roquan Smith, “all we can do is respond.”

“I am aware of the lads’ feelings in the locker room. It hurts more for us than for anyone else.

I promise, but we’re going to keep moving forward, admit our mistakes,

and get back up because we shouldn’t be 0–2.

John Harbaugh’s Ravens are 0-2 for the first time since they finished 5-11 after starting 0-3 in 2015.

“Everyone who says we’re not good or the season is over after two games is not going to define us,

” Harbaugh declared. It is the intended statement, and we are aware of it.

However, nobody within will say that.
