Carlos Corberan, the West Brom manager, called Alex Mowatt’s finishing against Portsmouth “magic.
West Brom continued their strong start to the new Championship season with a 3-0 victory at Fratton Park.
In the first minute of the Baggies’ match against Pompey, striker Josh Maja gave them the lead. The visitors then added two more goals,
one of which came from a free kick, thanks to midfielder Mowatt.
Corberan stated on the team’s official website following the game: “Alex Mowatt’s level of finishing for his two goals was excellent and
