Brandin Podziemski reacts to “Warriors are like Washed-Up Band” Criticism

Guard for the Warriors in his second season, Brandin Podziemski, responded to the peculiar comparison his team received recently from an unidentified NBA coach.

The coach compared Golden State to an old rock and roll band, in case you missed it.

 

The coach said, “I was thinking about this the other day,” to Steve Bulpett of Heavy Sports.”They resemble one of those touring rock and roll acts.

Their lead singer is still on the team, and he still has a lot of talent. However, the group has changed, and they haven’t released a successful album in a while.

It appears that the championship they won over Boston is now eligible for a lifetime achievement award. Boston wasn’t prepared to deal with their professionalism and experience just yet.

Following his batting practice prior to the San Francisco Giants game on Friday, Podziemski was questioned about the strange remarks when he was at Oracle Park.

According to Podziemski, via NBC Sports, “We don’t love to hear that, but we love to hear that in the fact that we’re going to do something that no one expects us to do.”

They don’t believe that we are the same Warriors that we once were, and for us, that’s simply the best feeling in the world—going out there and proving people wrong without worrying about anything.

“I believe there are some guys who have that mindset and get great satisfaction from disproving people’s assumptions.

I am aware that Steph Curry is one of those guys.” Thus, we’re merely eager to disprove them by playing with him in the backcourt and with all of our other players.

Curry recently expressed similar feelings, describing how he feeds off of people who doubt the Warriors’ chances of winning a championship in the near future.
