Amid the pro-Donald Trump controversy, quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany responds to critics.

This year, the Kansas City Chiefs and their loved ones, friends, and acquaintances have not acted in an impartial manner.

The Chiefs have been in the news for political reasons throughout an election year, from kicker Harrison Butker’s contentious graduating speech to Super Bowl speculations involving Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, endorsing Joe Biden.

Brittany Mahomes, the spouse of Patrick Mahomes, recently entered the political arena when she liked an Instagram post discussing Republican contender Donald Trump’s agenda for the US should he win in November.

Brittany experienced the same rapid criticism on social media that Butker did after like the post. Many people were still leaving comments on Brittany’s social media post on Saturday afternoon.

In response, Brittany blasted critics on her Instagram:

“There are a lot of people from different walks of life in the locker room, and they all have very different perspectives on everything. Not every time will we be in agreement. And while I don’t always agree with what he stated, I do respect the man for who he is and appreciate that he’s doing his best to guide others on the right path.

Even though we may not have the same values, I will evaluate him based only on the daily character traits he exhibits.

Those who were offended by Trump’s initial remark didn’t take well to Brittany’s message. People encourage Brittany to speak up for her convictions.
