Everton have demanded £6.7million to sell Neal Maupay before the August 30 transfer deadline, according to Le 10 Sport. The French outlet has reported that Marseille are hot on the heels of the striker, but have already seen a straight loan offer refused from Goodison Park.

Maupay was an unused substitute on Saturday 24 August as the Toffees crashed to another embarrassing defeat, 4-0 against Spurs.

With only 14 fit senior players to select from, Sean Dyche did not look to Maupay as his team was hammered in North London.
