Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed that he wants at least two additional signings this summer.

The Eagles have lost Joachim Andersen to Premier League rivals Fulham, and Jordan Ayew has joined Leicester.

According to our report, Palace and Leicester have agreed on an £8 million fee for Ayew, who will have a physical before making the official move on Thursday.

Fulham finalized the £30 million deal for Andersen on Friday afternoon.

Ayew was officially unveiled as a Leicester City player on Friday evening.

Michael Olise was also sold to Bayern Munich for a fee of around £50 million.

This summer, young players David Ozoh and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi went on loan to the Championship.

James Tomkins and Jairo Riedewald were both discharged at the end of the previous season.Daichi Kamada, Ismaila Sarr, and Chadi Riad have all joined.

“It’s just a little bit of math,” Glasner remarked when asked how many players he wanted to bring in before the window closed on August 30.

“We have Jes and David out on loan. We did not extend Jairo’s or Tomkins’ contracts.

“We sold one, maybe two more. We lost seven players and added three. “That doesn’t mean that we need four more, but it’s clear that we have to get at least two more players into the squad.”

Ayew appeared 212 times for the South Londoners, scoring 23 goals and providing 22 assists across all competitions.

The Danish defender has made 113 appearances for the Eagles since coming from Lyon in 2021, but his move back to Craven Cottage will result in a significant wage increase.

According to our sources, Andersen’s new Fulham contract puts him comfortably in the six figure range, a cost that would have made him Palace’s highest earning if they had matched it. Glasner continued, “For me, the most essential thing is the players. There will be no contract until the athlete agrees.

“We want every guy who comes here to say, ‘I want to be a part of this group. I want to be a part of this journey.

“If a player expresses a desire to leave for whatever reason—sports, a better club, greater money, or family. If a player says, ‘Maybe it’s not the appropriate club for me right now; I’d like to alter something.’

“Then it’s up to him and the club to work out a solution.” I’m looking for players who want to be part of Crystal Palace.

“If Crystal Palace and the other club reach an agreement and they [the player] say, ‘I would want to go there,’ it occurs.

“It makes no sense to say: ‘No, you’re not allowed to go,’ if they want.”
