Trevoh Chalobah: Magpies Are “Keen”

According to The Athletic, Newcastle is one of few teams that is still interested in signing Chelsea outcast Trevoh Chalobah before the transfer deadline.

The 25-year-old is still a target for Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, and the Magpies, and Enzo Maresca does not appear to have him in his plans for the 2024–2025 campaign.

After Chelsea’s preseason tour of the United States last month, Chalobah was left out, sparking rumors about the English center back’s future.

The strong defender is reportedly poised to be sold this summer, along with players like David Datro Fofana, Romelu Lukaku, and Armando Broja, who is very close to joining Ipswich Town.
