With Adam Idah, Paulo Bernardo, and Viljami Sinisalo, Brendan Rodgers and his group have not slowed down after

winning their third consecutive Scottish Premiership title. They also took advantage of Kasper Schmeichel’s free agency status.

As it stands, the Hoops have won the Scottish championship 54 times, one more than their bitter rivals Rangers.

Ahead of what may be a record-tying season, the team is still investigating the market.

The 21-year-old, who was born in Creteil, France, started out on the reserve team of his current employers and made

an impression that summer of 2020, when he was just 17 years old, when a senior role beckoned.

Journalist Gordon claimed on X (previously Twitter) that Sanches, 21, is eager to transfer to Celtic Park this summer

and that Rodgers and Co. are doing a lot of work to persuade him to do so.

claiming that Lausanne is now asking for around £3 million to sign him this summer, and that because the Scottish

team’s executives view him as a “top talent,” they may be willing to pay that amount. Gordon penned:

Alvyn Sanches is eager to sign with Celtic. There has been a lot of work done to persuade the player, but no bid as of

yet. Lausanne has requested £3 million. 21-year-old is regarded as a great talent by Celtic scouts and Brendan

Rodgers. Leeds and Burnley are two teams that are interested.

As Gordon said, Celtic has not yet made a formal bid approach to Sanches’ group; nonetheless, in-depth discussions

have taken place in the last few weeks, and the complete report indicates that Burnley and Leeds, two Championship

teams, may step up their efforts to acquire his services.

Particularly if Matt O’Riley, who is the subject of a £26 million bid from Brighton & Hove Albion, leaves before the

deadline, Celtic’s efforts to get the 2003-born star could intensify.
