In Leicester City’s pursuit of the Bundesliga champion, Fabrizio Romano provides a critical update.

After yet another attacker declines a move to the King Power, Leicester City will have to start over.

It’s been challenging to follow the Foxes this summer,

especially with the never-ending hunt for attackers to expand Steve Cooper’s options.

This summer, Leicester City has been connected to a number of players,

and they have been quite hopeful in their pursuit of bringing players with track records in Europe to the King Power Stadium.

Although Matias Soule appeared to be a strong candidate to provide Cooper’s team an additional attacking dimension,

he declined a transfer to Roma, an Italian team playing in the Premier League.

Leicester City has also made aggressive moves to sign players like Wilfried Zaha and Yaser Asprilla,

but it currently appears doubtful that a deal would be reached to acquire the two.

Following a number of disappointments,

the Foxes turned their attention to trying to sign a Bundesliga winner on loan; however, new information indicates that Leicester City has once more been defeated by an offensive player.
