Everton insiders claim that nobody from John Textor’s camp was with Farhad Moshiri when he met the senior executives of the club, according to the Liverpool Echo.

 

The news outlet claimed on 21 August majority stakeholder met at the Royal Liver Building on Tuesday, 20 August, and also visited Bramley-Moore Dock to check out the progress on the new stadium.

 

Despite the Guardian reporting that Textor had arrived in Liverpool to expedite the takeover, no such meeting took place with Moshiri.

The swift completion of the takeover by Textor would be beneficial for all parties and ending the prolonged uncertainty over ownership would provide stability.
