Cowboy’s Mike McCarthy makes a significant statement that should assuage one of supporters’ major anxieties in 2024.

With Terence Steele as the starting right tackle going into the 2024 NFL season,

Dallas Cowboys fans will have one less concern going into the season.

Head coach Mike McCarthy gave Steele some extremely encouraging words on Wednesday.

Steele signed a five-year, $86.8 million extension last fall, but did not measure up to expectations.

McCarthy remarked, “I believe this has been his best camp as a Dallas Cowboy.”

“You can just see the things he continues to work on.”

It certainly helps that the former 2020

undrafted free agent from Texas Tech has finally fully recovered from the ACL injury that he suffered in 2022.

“I was six months removed from surgery,” Steele said.

“I had some ups and downs but who doesn’t coming back from injury as fast as I did.

People my size usually don’t come back that fast. I’m proud of myself for what I did.

I didn’t miss a snap, and didn’t miss a practice.

“… I feel awesome … 100 percent healthy.

I’m moving great … knee doesn’t bother me at all.

I’m just happy to be healthy and continue to stay that way.”

It also helps that Steele is officially a well-season veteran entering his fifth NFL season and has learned a lot over the years.

Now with a lot more information and experience under his belt,

and his complete health intact, he’s ready to conquer and prove critics wrong in 2024.

“Yeah, sure. According to McCarthy,

“I’m in my fifth year, and each year should get better and better and better,” stated Steele.

I simply feel like I’m developing as a result of this procedure. It seems like my best camp yet, in my opinion.”
