BREAKING NEWS: John Cena puts Celtic ‘front of the list’ as he throw his support behind the Hoops.

Wrestling superstar and Hollywood actor John Cena has hinted that he might throw his support behind the Hoops.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Cena was asked if he would choose a UK football team, and he responded by putting Celtic front of the list.

“I always say I am looking for a team,” Cena told talkSPORT via Goal.com “Everybody says I’m a Tottenham fan,

there has been talks of me being a Chelsea fan. I say I’m looking for a team. I am still trying to figure out the game,

the rivalries, so if you have a good pitch I am willing to listen.”

The interviewer made a suggestion for Celtic, which caught Cena’s interest due to his Boston roots.

“That’s a decent pitch. I’m from Boston and our basketball team is called the Celtics. So, I’ll put that at the front of the list.”

Cena’s connection to Boston’s iconic basketball team, the Boston Celtics,

would certainly be convenient if he was to start supporting the Scottish Champions.

Lots of Celtic fan regularly wear Boston Celtics gear to games.

John Cena is no stranger to the limelight. As the face of WWE for over two decades,

Cena has become one of the most recognisable figures in sports entertainment.

Debuting in 2002, he quickly rose to fame with his “Doctor of Thuganomics” persona,

eventually transitioning into the “Never Give Up” hero loved by millions worldwide.

Beyond wrestling, Cena has successfully transitioned into acting, starring in blockbusters like The Suicide Squad and F9,

as well as comedies such as Trainwreck and Blockers.

Now entering what is likely to be a retirement tour in WWE, Cena has hinted that he will have more time on his hands.

As he balances movie roles with occasional wrestling appearances,

there might just be a seat at Celtic Park waiting for him if he decides to dive deeper into the world of football.
