Loan confirmation brings Leicester City Championship winner back to the second tier.

Despite playing on their preseason tour, the Manchester City defender will not be staying in the Premier League; instead, he will be loaned to Norwich for the entire season.

Callum Doyle, the Championship-winning defender for Leicester City, has returned to the lower leagues, loaning to Norwich for the entire season from Manchester City.

Doyle participated in 17 games as City won promotion the previous year,

and he probably would have played in more had he not sustained a major knee injury. Although City has advanced to the Premier League, the 20-year-old is still playing in the Championship for the time being.

But he’ll be seeking for a promotion once more. Under new manager Johannes Hoff Thorup, Norwich, who ended in the play-offs the previous season and lost to Leeds in the semifinals, will look to challenge for the top spot once more.
