Leicester City signs Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson on a loan, with the possibility of…

Reiss Nelson, an Arsenal attacker who is 24 years old, is apparently looking to sign with Leicester City, a newly promoted Premier League team, on a loan this summer.

Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Leicester City is interested in Reiss Nelson.

The Foxes are keeping improving their team in order to stay in the Premier League following their promotion from the EFL Championship.

They have begun negotiations with Arsenal to sign the indigenous attacker,

24, on a first-year loan that includes a buyout provision.

Reiss Nelson and his suffering at Arsenal

Despite making his senior debut as a talented youth,

Reiss Nelson has found it difficult to establish himself in the Arsenal first team.

The Englishman’s most famous stint came while he was on loan at TSG Hoffenheim.

Since then, he has failed to establish himself in the Arsenal first squad.

Despite playing almost 100 games for Arsenal so far,

the 24-year-old has only managed eight goals and nine assists—the majority of which have come from the bench.

Therefore, it is not shocking that Nelson, halfway through the summer transfer window, finds himself without a job at the Emirates.

Numerous prominent Premier League clubs are interested in signing the homegrown player.

The English forward has reportedly been connected to Fulham,

Crystal Palace, and West Ham United.

Reiss Nelson may, however, be heading to Leicester City next.

It makes sense that Reiss Nelson is of interest to Leicester City. Now back in the Premier League,

the Foxes are hard at work building a squad at a reasonable price.

Leicester City’s financial problems force them to concentrate on cost-effective transactions during the summer transfer window, such as loans and free transfers.

Thus, negotiations have been held between Arsenal and the recently promoted Premier League team over Nelson’s original loan agreement.

The agreement calls for a buyout clause, and the former Premier League winners are optimistic they can sign the 24-year-old Englishman.

Nelson’s receptivity to joining Leicester City is unclear.

But, the English attacker may feel at ease joining the Foxes during the summer transfer window in the hopes of reviving his faltering career,

having previously worked with Steve Cooper.
