According to Four Lads, Hamza Igamane has not suffered an injury that will prevent him from playing for Rangers for four months.

The news outlet and fan podcast reported on their personal X account (19 July) that they had heard rumors of the summer signing’s ailment.

But they soon put those fears to rest by revealing that they had approached the club about it and were told that it was “not true”.

Rangers injury curse must not strike again

The injury problems at Ibrox last season were absurd, and Philippe Clement has already moved to attempt to fix them.

The manager stated that behind-the-scenes hires were made this summer to improve the medical department [Rangers Review, 15 July], and while the squad currently has a few injuries, they are minor.

That must continue for the rest of the season if Rangers are serious about catching Celtic and reclaiming the title, because no one can compete at the greatest level if they are struggling to fill out a complete roster.

Igamane hasn’t even put on the Rangers uniform yet, so it would be a tremendous shock and surprise if he were injured, especially significantly, but happily that isn’t the case.

The 21-year-old Moroccan will need all of the time he can get in pre-season to adapt and learn so that he can start making an impression on the first squad right away.

In other news, Rangers have answered to Trabzonspor’s bid for James Tavernier.
