SKY SPORTS: Leicester City have officially signed Tottenham star Oliver Skipp to a three-year contract.

Football Insider has learned that Leicester City is planning a move for Oliver Skipp, a midfielder for Tottenham.

Despite the academy graduate’s popularity and importance to the team, Spurs may be willing to let the player leave this summer.

In the wake of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s transfer to Chelsea,

Leicester is looking to add a central midfield player this summer.

The Foxes are eager to bring in a player who can start right away and has Premier League experience.

Over his career, the 23-year-old has made 77 appearances in the Premier League and scored one goal.

Under Ange Postecoglou, Skipp was unable to establish himself as a regular starter for Tottenham, spending the most of his 21 Premier League games as a substitute.

Oliver Skipp is someone Leicester City wants to add to their roster.

Spurs have a strong negotiation position because Skipp is under contract until 2027, even though they may be willing to let him go.

Prior to their return to the top division, Leicester is eager to bolster their midfield.

Wilfred Ndidi, a midfield player, has signed a new deal with the Foxes that will keep him at King Power Stadium through 2027, securing his future.

Tottenham may hinge its choice about Skipp’s future on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s outcome.
