From his summer 2022 arrival to Paris Saint-Germain, 27-year-old Carlos Soler has never really made an impression on the Ligue 1 team.

PSG added Manuel Ugarte and Lee Kang-in to their midfield lineup last season as they continued to substantially invest in this area.

Renato Sanches, Vitinha,

and Fabián Ruiz were also signed by Les Parisiens during the season that Soler came.

Since there has always been fierce competition for a starting position, Soler’s playing time has been severely restricted.

Despite this, the Spain international has made 63 appearances in his two seasons at the Parc des Princes,

including 28 appearances across all competitions in the previous campaign.

But it’s believed that the Spaniard has other plans outside of PSG.

Le Parisien is aware that this summer, Les Parisiens are trying to sell Soler.

Aston Villa, who will play in the UEFA Champions League the following season, was strongly linked to the Spaniard earlier in the summer.

However, according to Le Parisien, Brighton and Hove Albion,

who were also linked to the former Valencia midfielder, are still interested in him and may make a move this summer.
