One Crystal Palace star is considering a move to Tottenham this summer.

Oliver Glasner has already seen Michael Olise leave Selhurst Park; the France U21 international has joined Bayern Munich for £50.8 million.

Austria may lose another major figure from Crystal Palace.

Ebere Eze keen on Tottenham move

According to Football Transfers, Ebere Eze would want to join Tottenham rather than Arsenal.

Both north London clubs are thought to be interested in signing the England international this summer, though the Crystal Palace No.10 is dubious whether he would see much playing time under Mikel Arteta, considering Arsenal’s striking depth.

Eze evidently does not believe Tottenham is as well-equipped in terms of attacking quality as Arsenal, and he is now considering a move to N17 in order to play regular games for a European club.

Arsenal are thought to have made preliminary contact with the 26-year-old’s representation, while Crystal Palace intend to engage with the Londoner’s camp when he returns from UEFA Euro 2024 duty, with a new deal potentially on the horizon.

Eze presently makes £100,000 per week in SE25 after signing a new deal in November 2023.

Crystal Palace No.10 should wait

We believe Eze may get a better – or more rational – move if he stayed at Selhurst Park for another season.

Ange Postecoglou normally uses a 4-2-3-1 style at Tottenham, which obviously only has one No.10 place, which James Maddison usually fills.

As a result, Eze might be pushed out to the left wing, as he was at times under Roy Hodgson, where he struggled to make an impact.

The Greenwich native has only seven goals in 48 appearances on the left, compared to 13 in 34 games as a central attacking midfielder.

In our opinion, Eze is now easily capable of playing UEFA Champions League football, thus he can do better than join a UEFA Europa League team with his enormous talent.
