According to recent sources, the Turkish team only intended to loan Onuachu for an additional season, with a buyout option for the following summer.

They reportedly need to wait on Southampton’s answer to this offer, although it’s been reported that the Saints are requesting €9 million. Trabzonspor, though, is optimistic that a deal can be reached because the player is reportedly eager to return.

Once more, it’s said that as part of the agreement, Trabzonspor has offered to loan a player to Goztepe. The Sport Republic organization owns Southampton as well as Goztepe.

During the previous season, Onuachu made 25 appearances for Trabzonspor and scored an outstanding 17 goals. His Southampton contract expires in June 2026.
