Leicester City, Southampton, and Brighton & Hove Albion are vying for Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley, with the Foxes now leading the field, per TuttoSport.

England is now showing interest in O’Riley, a Danish talent who has been one of the Scottish Premiership’s top performances in recent years. In addition to clubs in Italy, Southampton, Leicester, and Brighton are eager to get him into the Premier League.

Russell Martin wants Southampton to fight their way out of relegation, therefore he’s aiming to add talent to the team. According to rumors, Celtic might ask for almost £50 million to let O’Riley depart during the summer transfer window.

A player of O’Riley’s caliber joining Russell Martin’s midfield would significantly increase their chances of surviving the following campaign. Although O’Riley is a creative and goal-scoring danger in midfield, Martin’s recruitment team will need to work hard to persuade him to transfer to St Mary’s Stadium.
