TalkSPORT claims Leeds United is planning to scour the Premier League for a new loan signing.
The departure of young midfielder Archie Gray, who sealed a big-money move to Tottenham Hotspur, dealt a blow to Daniel Farke’s team.

In recent days, Marc Roca and Diego Llorente have also departed, adding additional new funds to the Elland Road coffers.

Leeds is now prepared to make a move to acquire midfielder Joe Rothwell from Bournemouth, a Premier League team.

Leeds is interested in signing the former Blackburn Rovers midfielder on loan.

With any luck, 29-year-old Rothwell will successfully conclude a loan swap to Elland Road.

The midfield player, who spent four seasons playing for Blackburn Rovers in the Championship, has a wealth of experience in the division.

He spent the latter part of the previous term at Southampton because he felt that his options were limited on the south coast; now, he is returning north to join Leeds.

It’s unclear if Leeds will be able to retain Rothwell as part of the loan arrangement.

The Manchester-born midfielder’s Bournemouth contract is still valid for two years.
