Celtic’s potential striker shuffle

Although the summer transfer window began for business last month, Celtic has not yet made their first official

signing. However, there is still a good chance that the team may see significant changes in the coming weeks.

In less than a month, the Hoops will begin their season as they get ready to meet Kilmarnock at Parkhead for the first

game of August.

Despite their apparent lack of success thus far in the market, the Scottish behemoths are apparently looking to

bolster their roster in different ways.

First, following Joe Hart’s retirement, Brendan Rodgers’ team is reportedly getting ready to make a move to sign

Sparta Prague goalkeeper Peter Vindahl Jensen as their new top target.

Additionally, it’s said that the Bhoys are in talks to recruit Paulo Bernardo from Benfica on a permanent contract and

are optimistic about landing Adam Idah from Norwich City.

Idah, the Ireland international, is expected to return to Celtic, and another striker may be allowed to go,

creating room for another new player to take his place at the top of the pitch.

Celtic’s possible striker rotation

First off, it was recently rumored that the Scottish Premiership winners hope to make a summertime profit on

center-forward Hyeon-gyu Oh.

The South Korean international is reportedly interested in signing with Belgian powerhouse Genk before the 2024–

2025 season, and a sale may bring in more than £4 million for his services.

The Pro League team has not yet confirmed or issued any reports indicating that a deal to acquire the 23-year-old

attacker from the Hoops has been reached.
