Hamza Igamane deal to Rangers ready to be completed

Hamza Igamane is supposedly on his way to join Ibrox, meaning Rangers are close to bringing in their next signing.

Four Lads Had a Dream (4 July) reports that the Gers will soon finish signing him. He will agree to a long-term

contract at Ibrox, with Rangers having to pay him £2 million.

After completing his media appearances, the 21-year-old attacker will be formally announced as Philippe Clement’s

next acquisition.

As he starts a new chapter at a legendary team, the striker has already sent FAR Rabat a heartfelt thank-you for their

part in his growth.

The adaptable forward, who can play both wide and through the middle, will likely be a major contributor to

Clement’s team the following campaign.

The player is en route, will make his official announcement in the coming days after completing his media duties

with the team.

“Previously widely reported by numerous organizations, but confirmation of a long-term agreement with a fee in the

vicinity of £2 million has been provided.”

Given how few Moroccan players have ever participated in Scottish football, the move is somewhat surprising.

After Kemar Roofe was shown the door after his contract expired, Rangers needed to strengthen their attacking areas

this summer. In the event that Cyriel Dessers departs the team, Clement may try to bolster the front lineup.

Though it would be unrealistic to expect the youthful talent to light up the stage in an instant, he has the potential to

be a real asset to the team.

His versatility allows him to play as a left winger, right winger, striker, or second striker, which makes him a

formidable weapon. His playing style is akin to Marcus Rashford’s and Memphis Depay’s, therefore he should be

able to adjust to various tactical formations.
