The six teams Rangers can face in Champions League qualifier

In the third qualifying round of the Champions League,

Rangers will face one of six opponents.

In the qualifiers, Philippe Clement’s team is seeded,

which should indicate an easier draw.

Rangers are the top-ranked team at this point in

the league because of a good coefficient

ranking following their triumph in the European competition.

As a result, Rangers will be seeded alongside Slavia Prague,

Red Bull Salzburg, and Lille for the third qualifying round.

The teams will face either FC Twente, Union Saint-Gilloise,

or the winners of the clubs in the second qualifying round of

the league circuit if they are drawn against unsettled teams.

In the previous round, Lugano will play Fenerbahce and Partizan

will play Dynamo Kyiv. The first leg of the

matches will take place on July 23–24, and the second leg on July 30-31.

Rangers will play their opening football game in

the tournament on August 6-7, with the return leg

scheduled for August 13. The third qualifying round draw is scheduled for July 22.

Rangers will join the Champions League play-off round with a chance to advance to the league stage if they make it beyond the third qualifying round.

Rangers would advance to the Europa League play-off round if they lost in the third qualifying round. Should Rangers lose in the play-off round, they would enter the Europa League league stage.
