Southampton signed former Barcelona striker for £75.6m

In preparation for their return to the Premier League this summer,

Southampton is really trying to make sure they get value for their money.

Adam Lallana and Charlie Taylor’s free

Premier League experience when their contracts at Brighton and Burnley expired.

After promotion, Southampton was required by the rules of Taylor Harwood-Bellis’ loan to finalize the deal with Manchester City, so they paid £20 million to acquire him permanently.

The 21-year-old center back Ronnie Edwards, who Southampton acquired on Wednesday for a steal of £3 million plus add-ons, joins Harwood-Bellis in the defensive additions.
