Report: Meeting expected in the coming hours as Spurs reach transfer agreement

Tottenham are in important talks with AC Milan.
According to the source, the operation to transport Emerson to the San Siro has reached a ‘key moment’,

with the two parties preparing for a new meeting in the coming hours.

According to sources, Milan has already worked hard to reduce Tottenham’s initial price of €30 million.

The Rossoneri are reportedly willing to do the deal for roughly €18m-€20m, or €15m plus bonuses.

While the Premier League club has not agreed to those criteria, they are claimed to be’ready to listen’ to the Serie A club’s proposal.

As a result, the outlet says that ‘decisive hours’ are now coming up in Milan’s pursuit of Emerson, with the negotiations not expected to drag on for too long.

According to the publication, despite having offers from other clubs, the 25-year-old prefers a move to Serie A because he believes he can be a regular starter in Paulo Fonseca’s squad.

This could be a transfer to keep an eye on this week as negotiations continue.
