Rangers target have been given permission to speak to Ibrox despite Celtic…

After a remarkable transfer turnaround from Norwich City to the Bhoys, Adam Idah is poised to be granted permission to go north to undertake discussions with Celtic, according to the Daily Record.

During the second half of the season, the Irish striker was on loan at Celtic; however, there was no option in the contract for the Bhoys to buy him permanently.

Norwich has made it apparent that they have no intention of selling Idah, thus Celtic’s attempts to come to an agreement over him have run into a roadblock.

However, things have suddenly shifted, and negotiations for a move are advanced.

Norwich is soon to grant Idah permission to go to Scotland and negotiate with Celtic.

Idah may go through a medical and sign a deal with the Scottish champions if he and Celtic are able to reach an agreement.

Idah is believed to have told Norwich up front that he wants to join Celtic.

It’s unknown how much Celtic will pay in total for Idah because Norwich hasn’t disclosed their asking price because it would be impossible to replace him.
