A permanent agreement for approximately £4 million has seen Roca return to Real Betis in Spain,

while Gray has completed a £40 million move to Tottenham.

Joe Rodon’s permanent signing

has cost one-fourth of that amount.

However, Leeds plans to make more permanent sales this summer. Three issues with

Victor Orta’s loan army still need to be resolved throughout the window,

but the 49ers have been working diligently to resolve them.

Permanent agreements had previously been reached for Luis Sinisterra and Robin Koch,

and Roca has now joined them in their pursuit of success. Brendan Aaronson is back at Leeds,

while Jack Harrison is back on loan at Everton.

Max Wober, Rasmus Kristensen, and Diego Llorente’s futures remain a matter of concern.

Although Wober and Kristensen were present at Euro 2024, Austria and Denmark have now been eliminated.

This week, Adam Pope revealed that Betis, owned by Roca, made an attempt to sign Llorente. However,

Leeds turned down a bid for the Spain international after it became apparent

that he would not be returning to his loan team, Roma.

Mucho Deporte, a Spanish publication, reports on Betis and Llorente’s position after

Leeds rejected their approach. Llorente reportedly desired a permanent transfer to Roma,

but Roma insisted on another loan.

That’s why the move to Roma didn’t work out, and even if the first bid was turned down,

Betis is still interested. Four years after departing to join Leeds for £18 million,

there is confidence in a deal to bring Llorente back to Spain.
According to the source, Llorente is eager to join Betis and has been in contact

with several players, most notably Roca, at the La Liga team. To sign Llorente,

a sum of money ranging from £3.4m to £4.2m is needed.

Prior to starting preseason training on Monday, Mucho Deporte reports that

Betis is getting ready to make a second bid for Llorente when they return to Leeds.

Betis will be facing qualifiers from the Europa Conference League.
