La Liga outfit Atleti have shown most interest in £50m-rated Chelsea ace this summer

According to Fabrizio Romano, Atletico Madrid of Spain has expressed the greatest interest in

Conor Gallagher thus far this summer.

Gallagher is now training with the England team in preparation for their quarterfinal matchup

with Switzerland on Saturday; his future will probably not be decided until after the competition.

With just one season remaining on his contract, the 24-year-old had a fantastic season for Chelsea, leading the team in Reece James and Ben Chilwell’s absences. However, there are many doubts about

his future.

Atletico Madrid showing most interest in Gallagher

Gallagher was one of Chelsea’s best players last season as they earned a top six finish and a return

to European football, along with Cole Palmer.

The England international may have played his final game for his childhood team, but he still

managed to score seven goals and dish out nine assists in 50 appearances across all competitions for

the Blues last season.

Gallagher is drawing interest from teams like Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Atletico Madrid, but he

has made it clear that he wants to stay at Chelsea. It is possible that he will be granted a new contract.

Gallagher is thought to be valued by the Blues at approximately £50 million, and it is unclear if any prospective suitors are willing to match that amount.

According to Romano, Atletico Madrid is the team that is most interested in signing the midfield player, but the cost is making a deal tough for them.

He spoke to the feed on Playback:

“Atletico Madrid is showing the most interest in Conor Gallagher, but the deal is very expensive for them.”

It’s no secret that Chelsea has been wanting to let Gallagher go for some time, but if he chooses to stay and finish out his contract, the team could lose him for nothing in the summer.
