Brighton Agree Deal For Southampton Target ‘Clearly Better’ Than Lucas Bergvall

The 18-year-old midfielder has been tipped for big things and has been regularly watched by several clubs in the Premier League.

 

Southampton have been interested in signing him and has been tipped to be ‘clearly better’ than Bergvall, who rejected Barcelona to join Tottenham this summer.

Brighton has been leading the battle to capture the midfield player this summer and recently put in a proposal to sign him.

There are rumors that Brighton and Goteborg have reached a deal for him to join the Premier League.

Brighton has agreed to pay the Swedish team £7.6 million in addition to add-ons in order to secure the young midfield player.

 

The player and his representatives have already reached a personal terms agreement on a contract with the Seagulls.
Yalcouye, a youthful prodigy, is expected to follow Bergvall to the Premier League this summer since he is already at Tottenham.

 

Ola Larsson, the sporting director of Goteborg, will also have his remarks put to the test.

 

“After all, Bergvall has played more matches in the league but I think Malick is clearly better than him,” Larsson stated earlier this year, expressing his opinion that Yalcouye is superior to the new Spurs signing.
