Celtic and Rangers handed major transfer snub as Arsenal star agrees La Liga move
This summer, Celtic and Rangers are rumored to have multiple transfer objectives in common; one of those goals is expected to deal a serious blow to both Glasgow rivals.
Having won both the Scottish Cup and
the Premiership in Brendan Rodgers’ first season back in control at Celtic Park,
the Hoops enter the summer transfer window with a lot of energy.
And while he hasn’t made any moves in the
transfer market yet, Rodgers has already prioritized a number of important positions to bolster over the next few weeks.
The former manager of Leicester City and Liverpool, though,
has already signaled his intent to build on the
success of the previous season and make sure his team is competitive on all fronts when the new campaign begins next month.

Rangers manager Philippe Clement’s top priority will be to continue adding his own touch to the team he took over from former manager Michael Beale in the first half of last season. The Belgian is expected to bring in a number of new players as he looks to win some hardware during his first full season in charge. Clement has already added players like Jefte, Liam Kelly, and Connor Barron to his squad this summer.
