The Whites and 49ers Enterprises have completed their first big incoming and outgoing transactions of the summer transfer season, with Gray joining Tottenham and Joe Rodon leaving in a permanent move.

Tottenham paid £40 million for Gray, while Leeds spent £10 million to bring Rodon back to Elland Road after a good loan spell last season. Interestingly, Brighton had already discussed a move for Crysencio Summerville last month, but have now shifted their focus to Rutter. The fan favourite at Elland Road returned to Thorp Arch for pre-season with his teammates, and the Whites appear to be in a strong position to retain their best players after selling Gray.
