pursuit of Belgian international Aster Vranckx. The 21-year-old midfielder is currently on the books

at VfL Wolfsburg in Germany, but according to reporter Sacha Tavolieri, the Eagles are ‘pushing hard’

to complete a deal to lure him to the English top flight.

Writing on X, Tavolieri claimed that talks are set to intensify between the two clubs over the next 24 hours,

with Palace willing to pay around £8.5 million, as well as offering the player himself a five-year deal at Selhurst Park.

Italian giants Napoli are also credited with an interest.
