Football London states that Chelsea is unlikely to pull

a last-minute heist on Tottenham’s summer transfer for Leeds United star Archie Gray.

Although the Blues scouts were delighted by Gray’s achievements

the previous season, they do not plan to try and steal him from

the Spurs this summer, the outlet stated on its website on Monday, July 1.

This is mostly due to their agreement to bring Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall,

a midfielder for Leicester City, to Stamford Bridge,

as Enzo Maresca appears to be building his team

in preparation for the upcoming campaign.

In a projected £25 million agreement, Gray is almost certain

to transfer to North London this summer, and J

oe Rodon—who spent last season on loan—is also anticipated

to move to Elland Road [David Ornstein, July 1].

Is Archie Gray going to leave Leeds United for

Tottenham in the summer transfer window?
Even while the majority of Leeds United fans

won’t want to see Gray leave this summer,

they would have hoped that he would have become more

expensive if a bidding battle had been started by one or two other Premier League teams.

In the end, it appears like Ange Postecoglou’s Lilywhites have won

the race, with Brentford and Spurs being the only teams

that have ever come close to completing a deal for the versatile teenager.

Although the departure of one of Elland Road’s brightest prospects in

this manner is regrettable, the Whites appear to have accepted

this offer, especially since Rodon is moving in the opposite direction.

With any luck, the Welshman can help Daniel Farke’s

team advance to the Premier League and make

a bigger impact than they did the previous campaign.

While on loan, he was fantastic, and the majority

of his supporters were clamoring for him to come back.

But unless Chelsea decides at the last minute to try

a last-minute hijack, it appears that Gray will play for Tottenham.

Other Leeds United news: Oliver Skipps’ position about a summer transfer to Elland Road has already been disclosed to the Whites.
