Heart of Midlothian have made a second offer to Scotland striker Lawrence Shankland in an attempt to ensure his long-term future at Tynecastle.
There’s a better offer on the table that includes a big pay bump and two more years on his contract. It’s due Wednesday night.
Even though the 28-year-old still has 18 months left on his contract, there have been rumors of a move for him.
Hearts have often said that no other clubs have expressed interest in them.
Scotland’s winter transfer window ends this Thursday at 23:30 GMT.
Since joining Hearts from Beerschot in July 2022,
the former Dundee United attacker has scored 19 goals this season and 46 goals in 75 games total.
