Jude Bellingham is warned by Wayne Rooney not to “do something stupid” during Euro 2024

In light of his international football experience, England great Wayne Rooney has advised “frustrated” Jude Bellingham to cool off at Euro 2024.

In a column for The Times, Rooney, who was once considered England’s greatest hope, reflected on his own career, which includes receiving a red card during the 2006 World Cup.

He talked on how crucial it is for Bellingham to make wise choices and not letting his anger impair his judgment.

After winning the Champions League and La Liga in his Real Madrid debut season, Bellingham scored England’s first goal at Euro 2024 just minutes after the match against Serbia began.

However, as England labored through the group stage with draws against Denmark and Slovenia, he cut an increasingly agitated figure.

It appears that he has been trying too hard this tournament, and when someone tries too hard, they tend to make bad mistakes.

“He makes me think of how I used to feel during competitions when I knew I could be playing better and I wanted to win so badly that it got to me.” Jude, though, don’t do something foolish.”

On Sunday night, England’s first tournament knockout matchup is against Slovakia. They will receive the favorable tie as a prize for winning Group C, and if they advance, they will face either Switzerland or Italy in the quarterfinals.
