BREAKING: Everton-linked With £30m attacker as ‘crucial’ update emerges

Everton’s transfer business is heating up, and Italian writer Fabrizio Romano has the latest on one of the club’s

alleged targets.

It’s been a frantic start to the summer at Goodison Park, with Aston Villa midfielder Tim Iroegbunam already

arriving.

Iliman Ndiaye, a former Sheffield United striker and long-term target, is also close to joining Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United’s unknown winger Yankuba Minteh is said to be willing to join the Toffees, despite

interest from a number of other clubs. Armando Broja of Chelsea has also been linked with a move to Merseyside.

Everton, Leicester City, and an unknown Premier League club are all thought to be interested in the 22-year-old

Albanian.

Romano, in his most recent YouTube video, reiterated that multiple clubs are interested.

Furthermore, the Italian journalist has stated that this weekend could be critical, with financial fair play

requirements looming.

“Keep a close eye on Armando Broja because I am hearing there is interest of several clubs,” Romano reported. “In

the previous 24 – 48 hours, clubs like as Everton and others have started moving around Armando Broja, so there

may be action around him this weekend. We understand that this is an important weekend for many clubs in terms

of financial fair play.”

According to The Athletic, Chelsea currently values Broja at £30 million.

Broja has had to deal with rotten luck on the injury front in recent years. During the 2022 World Cup winter break,

the Albanian suffered an ACL injury, which would put his career on hold.

Having just returned to Chelsea after an impressive loan spell at Southampton, the issue couldn’t have happened at a

worse time.

Since then, Broja has struggled to regain the form he showed at St Mary’s, where he scored nine goals in 38

appearances.

Having failed to really stake a claim at Stamford Bridge, the 22-year-old was loaned out to Fulham last season, where

he also struggled.

For Everton, signing the Albanian could be a risk, but if he can return to his previous self, this could prove a shrewd

piece of business.
