Federer and Rafael Nadal are flawed, but Djokovic is not, according to the former world number one.

Former ATP legend Mats Wilaneder claims that while Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have vulnerabilities, Novak Djokovic does not.

For the only reason that the players who defined the Big Three era are so exceptional, it is the best period in tennis history. Even while many would concede that Djokovic is probably ahead of both of them in that conversation, each of them has a claim to be regarded as the best of all time.

Everyone has a favorite now, and the conversation is still going on. As a former player, Wilander might argue for any of them, but Djokovic especially impresses him.

Wilander discussed the Big Three and made comparisons between the icons in a recent interview with Eurosport.

It’s challenging because they have a lot of similarities. The former Swedish player claimed that although Djokovik’s brilliance was not instantly apparent, like it was for the other two, it was repeatedly demonstrated over time.

“I believe that Novak’s brilliance was hidden from us when he first entered the scene because it was more internal than external. With Roger and Rafa, I believe you could see their magnificence. The technique and the shot both demonstrated it.”

For Wilander, it goes without saying that Djokovic lacks true vulnerabilities. He claims that although Federer and Nadal both have shortcomings, he doesn’t see any with the Serbian, who has received a lot of praise.

“What we failed to recognize is that his game lacked any vulnerabilities on any level. I believe it took some time for everyone to realize that he is flawless. Federer is vulnerable. Nadal has shortcomings. Really, Djokovic has no weaknesses.”

Ultimately, there’s a reason each of them has millions of admirers and followers, and their tennis skills might be among them.
