Toni Nadal believes Alcaraz will have more chances to win than Sinner.

Renowned tennis instructor Toni Nadal is a big fan of Carlos Alcaraz and recently declared that Jannik Sinner is not even close to being as good as the Spaniard.

Given that Alcaraz and Toni Nadal are both Spanish, it is not shocking that he frequently expresses support for his fellow countryman, who could end up being his nephew’s heir. Though he speaks not only as a fan or a fellow countryman, but also as someone who has extensive knowledge of tennis.

Though many would concur that Alcaraz is probably the marginally superior player overall, the Italian doesn’t appear to be far behind. He is currently ranked number one on the ATP Tour and led him in their most recent encounter at Roland Garros.

However, Toni Nadal believes that the Spaniard is just capable of doing more on a tennis court; the surfaces are irrelevant.

“Alcaraz is superior to Sinner; he achieves more on the court and has a wider range of strokes. In the future, I envision Alcaraz having more chances to achieve more.”

“Sinner is quite skilled, but Alcaraz has a little bit more mental prowess than him. Since tennis has grown much more uniform, both are equally strong on all surfaces.”

Given that these two players are predicted to rule the sport in the upcoming ten years, the talk is really interesting. Sinner has only won one Grand Slam versus Alcaraz’s three total. Alcaraz has had greater success thus far.

This year’s head-to-head record is at 1-1, but there could be a very significant Wimbledon match up next. Alcaraz is the reigning champion after an outstanding victory over Novak Djokovic in the championship match of the previous year.

The only thing perhaps harder is beating Rafael Nadal in Roland Garros, but he needs to prove it now. Given that Sinner is among the better grass players on the Tour, who will win in London?
