Report – Celtic Track Teenage Swedish Midfielder

Despite his young age, the 18-year-old has made 45 first-team appearances for Allsvenskan club Hacken in the last year and a half.

One of the top talents in Sweden, Dahbo is valued at around £3.4m having recently signed a new contract with Hacken until 2025.

He is considered as the second-best young prospect in his country and possesses enormous potential. Scouts for the Hoops are reportedly keeping an eye on him.

Dahbo is capable of playing in a variety of midfield positions, and while Brendan Rodgers is looking for a little more experience this summer, his abilities are consistent.

He is thought to be delighted at Hacken, but £3.4 million is a large sum for someone who has only recently graduated.

Whether this move materialises remains to be seen, but Celtic fans are becoming quietly frustrated at the lack of transfer activity from the club this summer.

In a welcomed update, though, assistant manager John Kennedy admitted yesterday there is a wealth of work going on behind the scenes as the Hoops look to strengthen for the new season.
