In an attempt to meet Premier League profit and sustainability requirements,

Nottingham Forest has allegedly received an offer to swap current star Murillo for a defender who has won a Champions League.

News about transfers involving Nottingham ForestPlayers like Orel Mangala and Moussa Niakhate are rumored to be heading for the exit door at the City Ground,

and the Midlands club is among the teams need to sell players this summer in order to comply with FFP.

Even though those sales will surely help Forest avoid receiving any penalty from the Premier

League this summer, Murillo may still need to be said goodbye to in the coming months.

Last season, the central defender had a fantastic campaign and was one of the Midlands’ top stars.

Although the interest of some of the top teams in Europe is not surprising given that he is only 21 years old, Forest might yet benefit from one offer this summer.

The Guardian reports that Chelsea will make a cash and Trevoh Chalobah deal to capture Murillo,

who Nottingham Forest estimates is worth a cool £70 million this summer.

The 2021 Champions League victory over Manchester City by the Chelsea academy alumnus puts his future at Stamford Bridge in jeopardy.

More doubts about Chalobah’s Chelsea future have been raised by the recent signing of Tosin Adarabioyo,

which would make it possible for Forest to sign a Murillo replacement right away.

At 24, Chalobah is an experienced center defender who would be a perfect addition to Nuno Espirito Santo this summer.

Chalobah is “fantastic” as a Murillo substitute. When it comes to seeking a replacement if Forest loses Murillo this summer, Chalobah makes perfect sense.

At his best, he is a defender worthy of the Champions League.

With Chelsea’s appreciation for Murillo as well,

Forest might be able to pull off a straightforward trade that would provide them cash in their coffers and a ready-made replacement when they emerge from their PSR crisis.

The statistics demonstrate not just how badly

Chalobah struggled for playing time at Chelsea the previous season, but also how capable he would be of filling any vacuum left by Murillo.

Given that previous Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel praised Chalobah at the beginning of his Chelsea career,

saying via Football365: “Fantastic,” it’s quite the turn of events. He deserves all the accolades that he receives.

Two outstanding games. He participated in friendlies against Arsenal and Tottenham, played 120 minutes on Wednesday, played 90 minutes today, and scored.
