Celtic has made a transfer bid for a Euro 2024 player, according to a fresh report.

Celtic are looking to replace Joe Hart.
After a long and glittering career, Joe Hart announced his retirement at the end of the 2023/24 Scottish Premiership season,

capping off his career on a high note as Celtic won yet another SPL title.

“I wanted to let everyone know that I would no longer be playing football after June.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while; there’s no right or wrong moment, is there?

“There is certainly a talk about the goalkeeping position for next season,

and I believe it is critical that we get the message out with the club’s consent so that it removes one of the things that people may wonder about.

“I have tried everything to keep myself in the finest possible shape to give my all on game day,

and I truly believe I am at that peak, but I am also aware that time waits for no man,

and I do not want my body to retire me. That was one of the crucial factors:

believing I could cross the finish line.”Following Hart’s confirmation that he will leave the club,

Brendan Rodgers and co. will need to find an acceptable replacement,

with the Hoops being linked with a number of goalkeepers.

Celtic have reportedly submitted an offer of roughly £6.4 million for Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir,

who has long been a target for the Scottish club. Southampton shot-stopper Alex McCarthy is also being followed as

he prepares to become a free agent this summer.

Tom Glover, Middlesbrough’s shot-stopper, appears to be of interest.

Celtic make a transfer offer to sign “hero”.
A new name, or rather an old name, has been linked with a relocation to Celtic Park this summer.

The player in question is Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic,

who was dubbed a “hero” by Peter Schmeichel after a standout performance in the 2022 World Cup quarterfinals against Brazil.
