The Bengals have announced Samaje Perine’s resignation with contract worth $7,800,000.

The Bengals have announced Samaje Perine’s resignation with contract worth $7,800,000.

American football running back Samaje Perine plays for the National Football League’s Denver Broncos.

In the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft, the Washington Redskins selected him while he was still a college football player for the Oklahoma Sooners.

HB Samaje Perine, an unrestricted free agent, was re-signed by the Bengals to a two-year contract that runs until the 2022 campaign.

Perine, a fifth-year student at the University of Oklahoma,

was selected by Washington in the fourth round of the 2017 draft.

Prior to the 2019 season’s first game, he was waived and signed by the Bengals.

He had played his first two seasons with Washington (2017–18).

In late 2019, he also spent a brief time in Miami, but Cincinnati reclaimed him on waivers in April of last year.

He participated in all 16 games (with one start) and ran 63 times for 301 yards (4.8) and three touchdowns last season for the Bengals.

He has participated in 44 games (nine starts) during his career,

running 251 times for 952 yards (3.8) and four touchdowns; he has also caught 36 passes for 253 yards and one receiving touchdown.

Dehner claims that they are trying to find someone to play Samaje Perine.

Maybe Perine himself comes back?

“The Bengals never replaced Samaje Perine,

who filled this masterfully in 2022 and may prove to be the solution here if Denver cuts him,” Dehner wrote.

Dalvin Cook, Kareem Hunt, and Cam Akers are a few other experienced running backs who are still available.

If Perine is able to avoid his contract with the Denver Broncos,

he will obviously be a superior choice than all of them.

In other developments,

Joe Burrow’s fashion statement at Vogue World Paris stunned everyone.
