Nottingham Forest Striker Awoniyi makes Career Decision to leave this summer

Taiwo Awoniyi of Nigeria.

According to The Daily Mail UK, the team will have to fight to hold onto star centre back Murillo

over a summer that will be extremely uncertain.

Not only is Murillo possibly leaving the team, but Awoniyi and Morgan Gibbs-White may also be on their way out.

In the summer, both players should get interest from teams in the English Premier League and from other leagues.

Nottingham Forest has been penalised with an instant point deduction for violating the Premier League’s Profitability and Sustainability Rules.

With nine games remaining before the 2023–2024 season ends, the team is in the relegation zone.

To make sure their revenue equals their expenses, the Reds may need to let go of players by the conclusion of the season.

In June 2022, Nottingham Forest acquired Awoniyi from Union Berlin for a club record cost of 20 million euros.
