Tottenham submit bid to sign Newcastle ace Alexander Isak

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham Hotspur have presented a formal request to secure an

audacious deal to recruit Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak in the summer.

The Magpies are expected to strengthen their team throughout the transfer window in order to compete for a top-

four spot next season. However, their transfer budget has apparently been constrained due to FFP laws, therefore

they must acquire revenue by selling one of their key players.

Bruno Guimaraes has recently been linked with a transfer away from the club, but Isak has also piqued the interest

of numerous Premier League clubs after an excellent season in which he scored 21 goals and provided two assists in

30 league appearances.

According to Di Marzio, Tottenham is interested in signing the 24-year-old and has already presented an official

proposal to do so.

According to the Italian writer, Tottenham made a player-plus-cash offer for Richarlison, but Newcastle rejected it

since it did not match their valuation.

The Magpies apparently value Isak at roughly £115 million, and it remains to be seen whether the North London club

will return with an improved offering in the coming days.

The 24-year-old can play numerous positions across the frontline, preferring to play as a centre-forward but also as a

left-winger.

He is speedy, technically competent, excellent at taking penalties, possesses a poacher’s sense inside the box, and is

effective at connecting up play. Isak is an extremely skilled footballer who has already demonstrated his abilities in

the Premier League in previous years. So, if Tottenham were able to sign him during this transfer window, he would

be a fantastic addition.
