Bayern Munich interested in Amadou Onana | Belgian’s best bits for Everton!

While they fail to reach an agreement with Fulham on a deal for Joao Palhinha,

Bayern Munich is considering a move for Arsenal target Amadou Onana.

In order to guarantee they have adequate depth to compete in every competition, including the Premier League and

Champions League next season, the Gunners are eager to improve their midfield ranks this summer.

If Thomas Partey is sold, there will be a greater need for another midfield player because he may also depart Arsenal.

Additionally, Onana has surfaced as a player the Gunners may sign this summer.

The Belgium international is rumored to be leaving Everton as they try to generate money to get back on their feet.

Among the teams interested in his services are Manchester United and Arsenal.

Bayern Munich has since firmly entered the race. The Liverpool Echo reports that should they be unable to come to

an agreement to sign Palhinha, Bayern may try to move for Onana. Vincent Kompany, the new manager of Bayern

Munich, is a fan of his fellow Belgian and might be a more practical, less expensive choice.

In August 2022, Onana moved from Lille to Everton for £33 million with add-ons. During his first season at

Goodison Park, he made 35 appearances across all competitions, leaving an impression that attracted the attention

of other clubs the previous summer. He remained put, though, and excelled under Sean Dyche’s leadership the

previous season.

His agent disclosed in February that the Belgian turned down a transfer away from Everton during the January

transfer window.

Since it’s his life and career, he ultimately has the final say in the decision.

He responded, “No, I want to stay at Everton and I want to continue to fight,” when I laid out the opportunities.”

Onana then discussed his future and revealed that he aspires to play for a “top club” last month.

“You have seen that the players who did well make the step up to the top clubs at previous tournaments,” Onana

stated in an interview with Het Laatste Nieuws. That’s what I try to achieve.

“I feel like showcasing my skills and offering myself to the elite of Europe. This European Cup is just one phase.”
